boomvoom2000 asked:
I know that the risk of being in a plane crash is much lower than the risk of being in a car crash. I was just curious if the risk for a steward or stewardess being in a plane crash was still lower (than being in a car crash).
If nobody knows how to answer, does anybody know where I could find out such a statistic?

Lisa and I spotted a small crashed plane from the highway on our drive to Montreal. We actually decided to get out of the car on the side of the highway and venture into the forest to check it out, just in case. Everything is real and nothing is scripted or made up. What?…you think we have that kind of budget? lol
No youtubers were hurt in the making of this video NOR any singers with an album dropping on May 13th (hint hint). We REALLY enjoyed putting this together for you all, hope you like it!!! On Thursday 15th January 2009, 155 people on board US Airways flight 1549 faced their worst nightmare. Less than two minutes into the flight, a flock of geese struck the plane, breaking both engines. With no power, Captain Chelsey Sullenberger decides he has only one real option: to guide his crippled plane away from crowded Manhattan and attempt the near impossible to land in the Hudson River. Miracle Of The Hudson Plane Crash is a fast turnaround documentary that tells the minute by minute story of that day through the compelling first hand testimonies of those who were there, from the passengers, eyewitnesses to the rescuers.

I used an old Tatone timer to make a chute release to drop my 4 ounce Aiptek Pocket Cam X from my Blade 400 helicopter. The “Wind up reverse video was for fun, not to trick people. LOL You would think it was obvious, but a lot of people still believe I had a string on it. Ha ha. A servo could also be used but this simple setup can be moved from plane to plane very easily. I used an Estes Model Rocket Parachute. The winds were howling. These small helicopters have no weight or mass, so they really are like flying Frisbees in a wind storm. Hard to maintain a good hover that high up for me too, as I cant see the darn thing, even with my pontoons on! Hope you enjoy this and be sure to follow our Traveling Chute around the world video for more fun. Thanks. Dave Herbert
